FAQs
Why is St Clare’s raising money for scholarships?
In celebration of our 70th year of teaching international students, we are aiming to raise £70,000 for our scholarship fund. Our mission, set by our founders Anne Dreydel and Pamela Morris to “advance international education and understanding,” is what still drives us forward today and would not be possible without our scholars. At St Clare’s, we regularly have a student body hailing from over 50 counties, and our scholars contribute significantly to our internationalism.
Who will be benefiting from my donation?
Each year, we award over 40 partial and full scholarships to students from around the world. Our scholarships provide life changing opportunities to students who otherwise might face obstacles to securing a first-class IB education. Our full scholarships cover the cost of tuition, fees, accommodation, and all meals.
We encourage you to take a look at some of the videos on our “Scholarship Stories” tab to hear a first-hand account of what opportunities have been unlocked by some of our past scholarship recipients.
How can I support the St Clare’s scholarship fund?
You can support the St Clare’s scholarship fund by making an online donation using the make a gift function (available on this web page).

Absolutely! We welcome contributions to any aspect of St Clare’s, and we want you to be able to support St Clare’s in whichever way means the most to you. If there is a specific area of the college that you would like your donation to go towards, please let us know, and we would be happy to arrange this for you.
Is it possible to set up a reoccurring gift to St Clare’s or make a bequest?
